Oh, and by the way re: the negative comment about her hair color. . . I view hair color as no more than an accessory – a bangle, a belt, a scarf – as it’s so not permanent. We’re always growing it out, cutting it off, lightening it for the spring/summer pallet, deepening it for fall. It’s not as permanent as new double D’s or being pulled so tight you look perpetually surprised.

z’avez vu ? en ce moment les magazines regorgent d’articles sur les femmes de plus de 40 ans. Ce qui n’est pas pour me déplaire ;o)
J’ai 48 ans et je crois bien que je ne me suis jamais sentie aussi bien qu’aujourd’hui, dans cet âge là.
Bien sûr on se lève un peu moins vite, bien sûr on commence à avoir de petits maux, bien sûr on mesure le temps qui passe, mais c’est aujourd’hui que je me connais le mieux.
Sans doute le fait que j’ai des enfants très jeunes y contribue t-il ? ! Sans doute mes gènes n’y sont pas étrangers – merci maman, merci mamies.

J’ai l’impression qu’à 30 ou 35 ans je n’étais qu’une ébauche de femme.
Je suis réconciliée avec moi-même, je me suis enfin trouvée :o)

oh, i was extremely impressed by holland woman, who was 70 years old, looking mature and feminine. young in her age, happy and satysfied. and so stylish!!! i always think about her when i’m getting upset and depressed.
