I love this post and your outlook on the city. I have a friend that goes on craigslist and goes on platonic meet-ups with people like to MoMa or for drinks. It’s such a big city filled with so many different lives! I think I’m going to find myself waking up there every morning eventually.

i think nyc has a bit like shanghai where i m living at now..
they do the same thing,grab you, spit you out, even wearing you down
so whatever city treats us like,there is only one thing that we can do,enjoying..
to enjoy the city then to find out the fabulous points in it

On dirait qu’une histoire d’amour avec NY is in the air, babe!
Je ne suis jamais allée à NY, car je n’avais pas la nationalité française, et avec la mienne, trop difficile d’atteindre the american soil. Il y a qq mois je l’ai eue, cette nationalité française, et je me suis dit que mon premier voyage à l’étranger serait NY. Marrant, lorsqu’on parle de NY, c’est comme si c’était un état à part, on parle pas des Etats-Unis. Je suis sûre que NYC va t’adopter avec impatience, Garance, mais j’espère que tu ne partiras pas pour de bon, comme de nombreux cerveaux français…

i think the hidden speakeasy you’re speaking of is little branch on 7th avenue. i love the cocktails and the mood of the place. definitely one of my favorite bars.

i grew up in new york city and am enjoying my time away from it. i’m also realizing that there really is no other place that can compare to it.
