I love the look, but I can't stand them and almost always undo braids before lunchtime. I've got really curly hair too, and when I have a bad hair day I wet or wash my hair, put a little leave in conditioner in it, and brush it backwards so when it dries and poofs up, it looks more like a beautiful, wild lions mane, and less like a frizzy poodle.
