Aaaaaah. If I was a fashion editor, I wouldn’t like to be seated next to me at a show. Filming, during a show, trying to stay chic and not disturb the people around, it’s quite tricky. Even more so when I am seating next to Scott who is shooting with his camera, it’s an evil combination… Pffffff, oh well… It’s a blogger’s life !
Anyway. I am very happy to show you this film from the Marc Jacobs show. And I am very happy this is sunday. This show was so dreamy, it is perfect for a sunday morning. My favorite show in New York.

Ahh, you 2 must be part of these ubiquitous bloggers the editors now all complain about ;-)… Beautiful film! I think this is the first time I love Marc Jacobs’ designs from day 1 (normally it takes a bit longer to ‘get them’).

Après les images convenues et les looks auxquels j’ai promis fidélité ici : ( http://www.chicandgeek.com/mode/marc-jacobs-over-the-rainbow/ ), plonger avec toi en apnée dans le monde enchanté de mon magicien, c’est une bénédiction dominicale…
Bon donc alors maintenant, j’économise, j’emprunte, je vends un oeil ou deux orteils… tout pour porter un morceau de Marc sur moi l’hiver prochain ! Ou juste regarder, jusqu’à l’hypnose, tes superbes images (malgré la saturation du site je m’entête à charger et recharger dans des fenêtres différentes ;)).

Quelle belle musique…. légère, nostalgique de la tendre enfance… oui on est bien dimanche matin, seul jour où l’on se sent reposé (du moins le plus reposant des jours) surtout lorsque les vacances débutent
Ce défilé est très beau mais j’avoue qu’il n’a pas réussie à me transporter dommage (néanmoins les robes sont très très belles).

I have been following your blog for a while now and I love how you and Scott are able to capture this simplicity of fashion that a lot of people forget or ignore. By simplicity, I mean is the enthusiasm and enjoyment of fashion. A lot of people are very cynical about it, so its a breath of fresh air to see someone who’s just excited to be immersed. Your videos are always so great. If I was an editor, I would love to sit next to you. I would probably annoy you with chit-chat and my girlish-excitement!
Wahou Garance ! Je viens quotidiennement sur ton blog depuis déjà un petit moment mais je tenais vraiment à te dire à quel point tes vidéos et tes articles me procurent une bouffée de rêve à chaque fois. C’est un réel plaisir de te lire et j’apprécie beaucoup ton ton décalé et pas du tout prétentieux. Avoir un parcours comme le tien est le rêve de nombreuses d’entre nous et je trouve ça généreux de partager cette chance que tu as avec nous avec autant de simplicité !
Le show Marc Jacobs est également celui que j’ai préféré et l’ambiance avait vraiment l’air magique :)

Merci Garance, je suis complètement transportée par ce défilé: la musique, les vêtements, le make up, la lumière…une ambiance feutrée et rétro parfait pour ce dimanche. Je retrouve ici l’univers et la sensibilité de Marc Jacob que je ne percevais plus (ou peu) ces dernière saisons. Une vidéo apaisante.
Toutes tes vidéos sacadent chez moi et le son s’arrete à 5-10 secondes de la fin, tu sais pourquoi ?

Jolie tenues, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit le meilleur défilé. En tout cas je reve de pouvoir assister à un défilé, on verra bien plus tard, mais je rêve une peu trop!

Short but sweet and dreamlike. The song “Somewhere over the rainbow” i was just singing the other day and my boyfriend said don’t you know any other songs and I said yeah but this one is so beautiful. It always lifts my spirits.
