Garance Doré

Yesterday, Elisa took me to Claus’ for lunch. Claus is a little restaurant that opened not a long time ago – just in front of Louboutin, how smart – they do breakfast and lunch, and I loved it very much, even though I had to use all of my mental power to resist tasting each and everyone of the very seductive cakes.

Yes. Cakes, they seduce me.

You can click on the images to see 1/ Elisa’s outfit, 2/ the atmosphere on Claus’ second floor and 3/ the fantastic pineapple sculpture that I would have loved to bring back home, along with a few cakes.

All right, the weather is so perfect I now have to go have a coffee on Canal St Martin. Oh and now I can officially confirm it to you : being a tourist in Paris, it’s fantastic !!!

PS : These are not mine, but I will tell you more about their owner super soon. Kiss !

No, really.

Paris, 9.16 PM

What I love about Paris at the end of June is that days are so long you have time to fit everything into them… And that the evening starts under a bright sun.

Yesterday I arrived in Paris and I ran into the beautiful LeeLee Sobieski before the Adam Kimmel show. I loved the simplicity of her allure.

But also, when I got a closer look at her dress and could see the texture, the play on colors, the lace on wich the pattern is printed, the simple yet super elaborate cut, it reminded me that Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga doesn’t express his talent only on the extremely dramatic clothes you see on the runways.

He is also a genius of everyday clothes.

That said, I’m off now, I just realised it’s the sales in Paris! Arrrgh!!!

Long Dress & Backpack

My Skirts (are they too short?)

Just a little question this morning. It’s about skirts.

Do you ever wear skirts? Short skirts? High waisted* short skirts?
