Here’s a selection of the shots I took for the Chloé spring 2012 lookbook.
I’m so happy to work with Chloé. I’ve always loved the Chloé woman, that certain romantic femininity that clashes with the more city girl vibe that’s almost a touch tomboy.
It’s just all so me. (Yeahhh that’s right. Let me dream.)
I literally spent two days shooting and ogling all the clothes. If I were to have an imaginary ideal wardrobe, it’d entirely made up of these clothes. And these shoes! Aaaaaaah…
Oh no no no, I didn’t end up getting a pair. :-)
PS = Big Love to the model, Jacquelyn Jablonski, to the fantastic stylist, Marie Chaix, and to the entire team at Chloé. I feel so lucky to work with people with such an amazingly high level of perfectionism and professionalism.
PS 2 = What’s funny is that shooting a lookbook is really different than shooting an editorial. Every part of the clothes has to be visible… It makes the whole exercise as difficult as it does exciting. Take a close look at the photos… You’ll see what I’m talking about.
PS3 = Thanks to Delphine for bringing her adorable dog Meg!
On that, I’ll let you go. I have to get ready for Fashion’s Night Out. Tonight, I’ll be at Phillip Lim’s shop and over at Phaidon (in Soho) with an exhibition of my favorite photographs. I’ll try to sneak into the shop this morning before everyone gets there to take a shot of the exhibit and post it for you. Come say hello!
