I’m in Florence, back from three days at the Hotel Pellicano, now one of my favorite hotels.
How great is it to be able to work around the world, to discover fantastic new places and meet fascinating people!
Sometimes I complain a little about spending my time on planes. Sometimes I complain a little cause I am in a dream location and I have to work. But then I take a step back: working somewhere gives you an occasion to see a place in a totally different light.
And to meet people you would not have met otherwise, like the super inspiring Marie Louise, the extra chic manager + designer + owner of the Pellicano. (I’ll show pictures of the hotel soon!)
I love her summer style, light shirt dress and great gladiators. Easy and chic.

Tu as raison, on v(o)it différemment les lieux quand on y travaille, et je trouve que c’est souvent une expérience plus intense que quand on est en vacances. Profite bien !

Là sincèrement, mon taux de concentration – déjà bien bas – va plonger… dans l’océan plus bleu que bleu et le sourire de cette jeune femme!
Mais nous ne sommes pas à la veille du week-end!
Heureusement que tu ne râles pas trop, Garance, nous ne le supporterions pas!!!
Heureusement que tu as fait en sorte de flouter l’arrière-plan, m’évitant ainsi le syndrome de l’HAPAAPSR (l’homme à poil à l’arrière-plan sur le site de la Redoute). Eh oui, c’est moi en pleine bronzette sur le petit rafiot derrière, là, au milieu de la grande bleue. Merci.

Il y a ici tellement de gens merveilleux que tu pourrais rencontrer !!! Alora, un abbraccio grande et bon séjour Florentin Séverine!

Funny, now that I think about it, some of the best experiences I’ve had traveling was when I was on a business trip. I always stumble upon something spontaneous and unexpected-it feels like a bonus! These posts are such great mini getaways for us. Thanks for sharing!

Je vis pres de la mer en Floride, mais rien ne vaut le charme des cotes balneaires en Europe. Cette photo est sublime et me rappelle tant de souvenirs.
Le bleu etant ma couleur preferee (cela remonte a mon enfance), j’ai envie de plonger de mon “lap top” comme d’un tremplin dans cette mer accueillante….
Chere Garance, vous faites un metier qui fait rever bon nombre de vos “followers”.
