Here is a bag that was gifted to me a couple of weeks ago and that I, surprisingly, have been wearing ever since.
It’s small (you can’t fit your iPad in it), light, you can kill someone with the steel corners, but most of all it’s super minimalistically chic. Thought I’d tell you about it.

It’s beautiful but, aaaack, doesn’t it make you nervous to go out with so little *stuff*? I’m a total big bag junkie, and it’s always heavy and filled, so while my back and shoulders would love me to switch to something more like this, I just can’t imagine it actually being functional! Don’t you miss carrying everything with you? Or were you never a camel like me?

Il est super beau, et j’adore les petits sacs (ce qui explique ma collection sur-developpee), mais… ils sont tellement pas pratiques! Moi j’ai besoin de mettre mon laptop, ma brosse a cheveux, mon enorme trousse de maquillage, et une paire de chaussures de rechange dans mon sac! Du coup, je ne m’en sers jamais.

With smartphones replacing my camera, agenda, and address book, I find I can get away with carrying a lot less and don’t carry a big bag as much as I used to. This one is so sleek and modern, yet it has a timeless quality to it. Love it. Who is it by? Nice present!

love the bag….i had a skin bag same color it was the a victorian shape with a silver frame on a long silver chain..i loved.. if i bought it today well i probably would be out of reach.

Epuré mais avec beaucoup de caractère.
je suis passé à des sacs beaucoup plus petite (du Billy de J Dreyfuss au city de Balenciaga), mais pas sure que je puisse passer au tien, du moins la journée.
Mais il est vraiment très chouette!

Hum, pour l’aimer, il faudrait savoir si c’est du synthétique/imitation de peau de serpent ou de la vraie= ce qui rendrait la chose beaucoup moins classe à mon avis. C’est bien beau la mode, mais la mode doit se faire respecter par des prises de position plus éthiques en 2012.

Je trouve ce sac tres beau mais pas tres pratique, a moins d’avoir le secours d’un “tote bag” pour y fourrer tout ce dont on a besoin.
De belles proportions pour un très joli sac.

Cool bag. Howver, after reading the NYT article about what happened to Loeffler Randall, I’m really reluctant to buy anything from them anymore. Basically, Loeffler and Randall got screwed over by a big company. They’re not anymore in anyway able to be involved in their company or use their names for designs. Ugly stuff.

A lovely bag (really dig the metal corners) but, I too, would want this in a larger version to carry my iPad. Otherwise it becomes strictly a “going out” bag.

I particularly love the size (and the leather too).
I noticed that the larger the bag, the bigger the number of things I “have” to carry with me…and the heavier the bag gets…
I hate big bags.
They weigh me down, and they even change the way I walk. So uncool.
More often than not, you see people on the streets completely worn by their own huge bags, who struggle to find the phone when it rings, who carry everything except the one most important thing.
As someone mentioned above, smartphones provide a phone, ipod, city map, agenda and the book-for-the-metro all in one, without eating up space .
A pair of keys, an aspirin, a lipstick, my ID and cards fit into the smallest volume.
Everything can be found in a snap.
The bag stays neat and clean inside. On the outside, it keeps it shape.
Most importantly, you can’t beat the feeling of freedom and “legerté” that a small bag gives!
