This week, I’ll be posting my favorite ads from the back-to-school season. And I HAVE to start by declaring my eternal love for Dolce & Gabbana ads.
Season after season after season of sublime advertising, happy and dramatic, full of humor, so Italian… A most fantastic saga.
And I love the casting this season with one of my favorite models, the amazing Bianca Balti (to me, she’s the most beautiful of all!) and of course, Monica Bellucci, and a new-comer I love named Bianca Brandolini.
Yeah, this mix of generations is different and fantastic, and I send a big bravo to Giampaolo Sgura and a big bravo to Domenico and Stefano. I love this stuff.

I have to say that I am always pleasantly surprised by Steven Meisel new works. As even if he keeps his style, quality of images and color, I feel like he keeps reinventing himself…! And then of course coupled with the Dolce & Gabbana spirit… The result can only be great!

Completely agree, The mix of generations is great and the final result amazing!!. We also love this campaign. Congrats to Dolce&Gabbana. We are working on earrings inspired on this campaign.

J’adore, merci d’avoir partagé! J’ai jeté un coup d’oeil à leur site, et je dois dire qu’autant j’adore leur côté glamour (et que je l’admire de loin depuis longtemps), ce qui m’inspire le plus c’est… l’ensemble des garçons sur la photo ‘Summer 2013 Fashion Show.’ C’est simple, propret et ébouriffé à la fois, et facile à capturer–je me verrais bien recréer ce look jusqu’à ce qu’il fasse trop froid pour porter un short.

Bianca Balti!!! je suis tout à fait d’accord! Très James Bond girl…non? Ces publicités me mettent en joie lorsque je feuillette les magazines, joie de vivre et “spontanéité”!
Agreed! I am teaching in Kuala Lumpur now (Garance I was at Parsons before, remember?) Anyhooo….so just showing students the round of new Fall ads and had to spend awhile on this one…love it the Menswear and Womenswear ads. Wonderful. Wonderful.
I totally agree Garance! I have always loved their ads too…They just scream Italian to me and capture Italian life and humor and family so well. They’re playful and inviting. After living there for a couple years, I get such a nostalgic feeling when I flip the page and see these ads!

à propos de ton blog, vous avez bien fait de mettre une teinte légèrement plus foncée en fond, c’est beaucoup plus joli!
I’m not really into their campaign this year, but I was in love with most of the past ones, especially winter 2010. It was wonderful!

J’aime beaucoup. La photo fait très vivante, pas figée comme cetaine. Et j’aime beaucoup le mélange de générations, ça crée tout de suite une certaine proximité, on s’identifie plus vite.Et Bianca Balti est tellement belle

J’aime les pubs de D&G parce que ça montre un côté à la fois glamour et chic des femmes mais aussi le côté humain, femmes de tous les jours. Par contre mes pubs préférées sont celles des sous vêtements Aubade. Les photos sont sublimes sans aucune vulgarité et les “leçons” de séduction sont vraiments tops. J’adore .
Pour ma part, je n’aime pas trop, c’est trop noir. En automne, je n’ai pas envie de ça.
Et ça ne me donne pas envie d’acheter, ce qui est pourtant le but d’une pub ?
J’adore le mix des générations, cette pub est une évidence pour les pays du “Sud” comme le mien (Portugal)… La Famille c’est sacré! Le style aussi ;-)

c’est vrai je me disais ca moi aussi! depuis quelques saisons les pubs sont sublimes, c’est vrai que bianca balti est magnifique dans ces pubs surtout pour les bijoux, mais
elle est meconnaissable de photos en photos j’ai été un peu decu du coup
