I use clear brow gel – rather than brow wax – which is great because it comes with a brush, so you can comb your eyebrows at the same time. It’s one of my daily make-up must haves, as my eyebrows are so bloody long and look mental without it! I recommend the Mac clear brow gel.

Quand tu mets de la poudre dans tes sourcils pour pas que ca se voie, le mieux c’est encore de réutiliser ta petite brosse après pour estomper ! :) Ca marche je t’assure !

Ah trop cool! My eyebrows are so big and unattainable (almost like that model Bambi), I can’t to anything to them besides putting some clear mascara in (it’s even better than brow gel, believe me)

Backcomb?! Why? What for? We need more information Garance! I always thought brow wax and gel were for people with “unruly” eyebrows, to tame them and keep them in place. Since mine seem to be well behaved I never even thought about using it. But now if I’m supposed to be backcombing them with it… maybe i do need some?
I’d never heard of brow wax either; I’ll be on the lookout. I have full dark brows and have recently been spritzing olive oil on my brow brush to help my brows look neat throughout the day. Works pretty well!
What’s funny about this is I’ve had a brown brush and one end had that wax on it, but I didn’t know what it was. I just never used it and thought it was random and weird. Who knew, right! Now, I need to go find that brush.

Grateful for all the makeup tricks you’ve revealed. If my brows don’t look good I never feel done. They are the first thing to take care of. Some pencils are okay but powder does seem more natural. I use a neutral brow gel mascara from Benefit to brush them into place. Recently saw a brand new one from Stila with a brush so you can paint the brow color where you need it. One thing I know for sure – when you pluck and pluck they don’t grow back later on.
I recently purchase the Chanel Brow “compact”
I thought it would be a bit of fun to use on nights out,
Now I am completely addicted and it has made my make up routine so much simpler!

Oh mon dieu! Il existe tellement de choses pour les sourcils! J’ai tout à apprendre! De la cire et de la poudre à sourcils ? Ma trousse à maquillage est vraiment minimaliste parce que je n’ai rien de tout ça! Il faut dire, je suis méfiante avec les sourcils… après avoir expérimenté le sourcil troué, je suis devenue très suscpicieuse en matière de eyebrow beauty.

C’est un peu ça tous les matins dans ma salle de bain.
Je brosse et je redessine au pinceau biseaute avec une poudre marron naturel. Ça change complètement le regard le fait de travailler les sourcils, c’est dingue.
Je rajoute juste un peu de laque sur un goupillon pour fixer mes sourcils car ils ont tendance à tomber, et ça marche.

Some of you have asked why do they back combed it? I went in the store yesterday to try it and the only thing I can think of is: as they are going back and forward (fast) with the wax is warms it up so it becomes more easy to control it. Otherwise is very sticky and pretty hard.
For those if you who care what brand it is the one they are using: is Mac. The comb they are using is Mac as well ;)
