I wish I could go here more often. It looks like an old library, but it’s actually pretty new as the Nomad Hotel opened very recently.
What I love that place is that it’s quiet, feels a little bit like being in Harry Potter, there are big sofas and the light is beautiful. And the lattes are pretty delicious.

Jolie photo, mais la bibliothèque de Harry Potter, la vraie, celle du film, est ici à Porto et est beaucoup plus impressionnante!… En espérant te la faire visiter un jour, Garance, si ta curiosité guide tes pas jusqu’ici!

Ah je connaissais pas et je crois que je vais tester! C’est de plus en plus rare à NY de trouver des endroits pour déguster un café bien vautrée dans un canap’. Ca doit pas aller avec les besoins de rentabilité ambiant!!!

C’est amusant ça qu’elle coïncidence j’étais à NYC il y a quelques jours à peine et j’ai justement séjourné au nomad, l’atmosphère était si agréable, l’ambiance feutrée, le calme au cœur de la ville

the NoMad is by far my favorite hotel in the city! my two other favorite hotels are the greenwich (they have an incredible drawing room too and amazing service) and the chatwal! what i love about the NoMad, everything: the eclectic dark design, the bright interesting rooms, the blue corridors, the service, the restaurant, the two elephants at the bar, the alcohol free cocktails! we didn’t go to the library (don’t ask why), maybe because it was too hot (100°) and we just wanted to be at our bright room. unfortunately i was not allowed to take pictures (but I did of the hotel room). oh and one other thing, i am a huge fan of the neighborhood!!! I know for some people that is an issue and i think that the breakfast at the breslin is still a little bit better.
Perfect atmosphere to start writing a book don’t you think? ;-)

Il y a un petit côté “Harry Potter” dans ce lieu je trouve!…pourquoi il n’y a pas ce genre d’endroits à Paris? Vous avez des cafés, bars, restau de dingues à NY #JALOUSE !

forget the lattes. go for the cocktails! my favorite is called, ‘paris is burning.’ and, the bartenders are so good, they’ll make things up on the fly. also, this library is the perfect place for a first date. i’m. just. saying.
And the doormen (at least the ones from this summer) are quite easy on the eyes.
When i saw the photo, I actually thought that it really did remind me of Harry Potter! I would love to spend a good afternoon in there reading!
