A really interesting Theyskens Theory show, with voluminous silhouettes and fabrics that I want to touch… And buy right away. And as I was telling you this morning, the tall boots that are giving me so many ideas. This is the kind of accessory that can give energy to any old wardrobe in one sec – but the important thing is, you should show some skin and not cover the leg entirely.

je sens depuis quelques semaines souffler un vent de ras le bol contre l’interdit du collant couleur chaire. La mode n’aime pas les interdits. Et puis il n’y a presque que les filles qui les remarquent à tous les coups !

Si on arrêtait de dire couleur “chair” avec sa connotation collants de contention, pour dire collants “nude” ou plus français : couleur “peau”, un collant qui maquillerait la jambe donc !
Wolford, Kunert, Gerbe en font de très beaux, mats, très doux, et qui évitent de grelotter, bonus : ça cache aussi les petites misères. En attendant l’été c’est une bonne alternative quand on n’a pas envie de porter des opaques noirs.

I think the boots are beautiful but I think if you’re going to show any thigh they should fall a bit lower down, under the knee. Cutting your legs in half like that is only attractive if your thigh is the same width as your calf!

This is perfect. It’s relaxed and not so covered up. And yeah, nude tights would work. In my case, brown. Made me remember that I used to do that with short denim skirts in the winter. Will have to re-visit that idea somehow.
