Braids have become part of the beauty language at Valentino over the last few seasons and the show this week was no exception.
Inspired by portraits by the Dutch masters, models sported long, sleek braids to the side on the runway courtesy of hair guru Guido Paulo. The look was finished with a simple leather band that covered the ears.
The best thing about the look? It’s super easy to recreate. I’m wearing my hair in a braid as I write this…

I love all kinds of braids, they’re gorgeous. But I can’t seem to pull one off myself – everytime I try I get so mad and I look like a Hilda from Norway, hahah :D. Well not that that’s bad, but I sure don’t look like one of Valentino’s models :D!

My daughters have been wearing their hair in tight beautiful braids since they were 4.
They always look great. Sadly, dad can only weave a great braid when their is damp.
