If there’s one thing I like about fashion week, it’s seeing how some will find so many different ways of wearing one particular item. I’m totally the type to fall in love with a bag, a pair of pants, or a jacket and wear it every day until I’m so tired of it I feel like need to throw it out the window.
This pair of pants here, if Rei ever got to the point of wanting to throw them out the window, I’d be the first to be waiting at the bottom to catch them.
Ok, I’d need to go to Tokyo now? But that wouldn’t be so bad, would it?
This ensemble here is my favorite look I think. Not so much so because it’s an ensemble, but mostly because I love the sandy colors she chose, and her super simple bag, and that too, if ever she decides to toss it out the window, I’ll be… Yeah, you get it.
Oh, also. When the time comes to toss her earrings out the… Okay, I’ll stop.

La veste ET le pantalon, ça fait un peu trop pour moi mais ce serait très à mon goût si elle avait enlevé la veste ! Comme tu dis, les tons “sable” du sac et du pull vont très bien avec :)

Love Rei’s style. She’s like a jazz musician — when a lot of other people just do tart canned pop downloaded from your latest high fashion brand, she’s the master of improv. Loving it. She looks so much nicer when she smiles, I find her serious look far too harsh whatever she is wearing. It just goes to show you are never fully dressed without a smile……..
I love the second look! OMG! Every time I see her picture, I just wanna jump in the shot and take her clothes, although I know I’ll never look that good and confident in them:P

What’s so interesting about this post is that it makes the idea of fast fashion and always being on trend a little passe. Reality truly is wearing something more than a few times with a whole range of looks, especially when it’s something you love. I think the fashion industry to the unknown observer seems to always be about the next thing, the new thing…but this post shows that true style surpasses this unsustainable lifestyle. I think it promotes a (and more true) attitude towards garments and ultimately style. Thanks Garance xxx

C’est le look de la dernière photo que je trouve absolument génial! Moi aussi j’adore porter mes vêtements plusieurs fois…slow fashion, un peu comme ce que tu décrivais dans ton point de vue sur la fourrure….disons qu’après avoir investi tellement de moi même dans l’achat d’une pièce puis dans la conception d’une silhouette, j’aurais l’impression de me perdre un peu si je jetais tout au bout de 3 jours

My favourite is the last look because of the mix of those very luxurious printed silky trousers (2 sizes bigger) with the maxi boyfriend t-shirt. It just looks so cool!
