“Morning: Beauty for me is not just about what you put on your skin but what you put inside. I think that’s actually the key. My first big beauty trick is first thing in the morning, lots of water. Rehydration is really key. I wash my face, I use this amazing Vaishaly cleanser….
And then I use a serum, one the i love right now is called Cell Food by Elemental Herbology. It has lots of vitamins and minerals. I think serums are better than creams in some ways. I use a moisturizer, it’s really hard to get, it’s a German company thats called Dr. Spiller. It’s an Collagen Aqua Plus moisturizer, which is light. I can only get it in Australia when I go home.
The key to curls is a good hairdresser who knows how to cut it right. Mine is Jimo Salako from Salako London salon. He also gives it a keratin treatment every few months which tames it just right and takes away frizz. Then all I need to do is add a little Aveda Hang Straight serum and cream after I wash it. A little argan oil doesn’t hurt either…
Day: I don’t do much make up. I do a little bit of a NARS concealer and a little bit of red lipstick. I’m really into MAC Russian Red at the moment. In my bag I have a lip balm. I like Papaw ointment from Australia. It’s the best. It’s not too glossy, I don’t like a shiny lipstick, I like a matte lip.
Night: I wash my face with the same cleanser and then I use this brand from San Francisco, In Fiore. She has these serums and oils that I put on at night. I’ve got all of them. I just mix them up and pack them on my skin. They are all flower based and I just go to bed smelling like a bunch of flowers.”
