It’s my last hours in Tokyo and all I want to do is to sit here in the hotel bar in front of these windows and the breathtaking view of the city.
Today, it rained. There was so much wind and giant clouds weaved in between the grey and silver towers right in front of me. I could spend hours here trying to capture just what how this trip to Tokyo has changed me.
Getting to work somewhere unknown is the best way to enter directly into the heart of a city. Of course, when you have a production team with you, it takes some of the Lost in Translation effect out, but you get the chance to live some incredible moments…

I was super lucky to see a wedding at the Meiji Temple in Harajuku.

Fugu is a poisonous fish that, if not perfectly prepared, can cause death. Only certified chefs in Japan have the right to serve it.
I mean when you look at it, you already feel a little threatened, don’t you ?
I’ve always found it fascinating: While in Europe and America we’re mostly obsessed with straight hair, in Japan everybody wants to have curly hair. Girls and boys curl and bleach their hair. By the way, I really like the short and curly cut in the picture.
Wouldn’t it be funny if the Japanese showed us how to like curly?
One thing that is a constant though: the smoky eye is loved from New York to Paris to Tokyo –it always makes people look beautiful !
