There are certain women you see all the time on my blog, and that’s just simply because they inspire me the most.
Take Elisa for example. During the fashion weeks, I can always pick her out in a crowd. She’s the queen of color blocking and has the most feminine tomboy look I’ve ever seen. I just love it. That said, I wondered what she would say if I asked her the same questions Emmanuelle Alt was asked (that interview about Emmanuelle’s staples really stuck with me and I find myself going back to it all the time, and it even dates back to the 90s! Truly a timeless woman…) It was super last minute and she was in the middle of a shoot (Elisa is a stylist) but since she’s just such a dear heart, here’s what she responded… READ MORE

I am back from a long week-end in Capri (Happineeeess !) (Suntaaaaanning !) (Lots of cheesy vacation pictures to show you !!!) and back to New York, I still have a lot of photos from Paris to show you.
Let’s start with Lara, whose easy chic and very parisian style I love. Vintage Chanel bag, long dress and long necklace (her own design) look so good all together. And her espadrilles !!!
Ok I will be back a little later with more pictures of her. Kisses !
… Do you remember I was just saying that I could never wear espadrilles ?
PS : These are not mine, but I will tell you more about their owner super soon. Kiss !
There is an impossible tension before the Chanel show, as if it was there and nowhere else that the show-business, the star-system and the crazyness of fashion cristallised. That’s how I sat down, two seconds before the show, in a crazy state of tension, totally shaking.

Such a moving show. The music: Bjork songs, by an orchestra. The muse: Inès de la Fressange, back into the arms of Karl Lagerfeld. The place: a Grand Palais reverberating with energy. And with that, one of my favorite Chanel collections.
Just as Mademoiselle Agnès says in the video, we’re so fucking lucky! I’m so excited to share this with you.

In terms of city bags, there are a many schools of thought.
From the most comfortable to the almost impossible to wear :
1/
The backpack : It’s so ugly it’s beautiful, you wouldn’t understand.
The Epitome : That padded Chanel bag with two giant gold Cs, on loan from the 80s, they don’t make it anymore, which makes it even more trendy. (Personal note = Violaine, whenever you can send me that list of words that you are forbidden in your magazine, that’d be great. I think I’m gonna need it. And if you have any suggestions as to how to replace them, I’ll need those too.)
Ok, so in short… Practical, yes, but too trendy for me.
