Tine à la Rotonde du Printemps Haussmann
The last hour of the last day of fashion week, the fantastic Maria Luisa – a woman I just love and need to talk about again soon on here – put together a luncheon in honor of Alexander Wang. It was absolutely amazing.
I swear, I was so tired I didn’t even have the strength to lift my camera. I was just so content to listen to Maria Luisa, Virginie Mouzat and Alexander Wang talk about the shows and have a good laugh with my friends Gaia and Tine while enjoying a few bites of truffled risotto.
The only thing I couldn’t help but getting a shot of is Tine’s outfit which just matched the private room at the Rotonde at Printemps Haussmann so perfectly it seemed like she did it on purpose.
Next time you’re in Paris, don’t forget to take a peek in the big department stores. They really are architectural treasures. How about I promise you that next time, I’ll put together a little photo tour for you? Big hugs!

Repossi + Vogue Brunch at the Ritz
Saturday morning, girls’ brunch at the Ritz, hosted by Gaia Repossi and Vogue.
I left my bike to the doorman who took it with a grin. It made everybody laugh. Then we went to the Jardins Du Salon d’Été, a tiny and adorable patio, hidden at the end of the corridors of the gigantic hotel.
With Lovely Gaia
Here is Gaia Repossi in one of the rooms in the Standard in New York (oh my, oh my! Just look at that view of the Hudson!!!) where she recently presented her new jewelry line.
I already told you just how much I admire Gaia. I just think it’s so awesome that she offers a whole new take on haute jewelry which is a little too confined to its overly classical box (and even Kate Middleton couldn’t disagree, ha!).
You can click on the photos to see a few of my favorite cuffs and bracelets. And make sure you check out how she wears her rings above her knuckle. I love it!
So, which one do you choose?
Gaia Repossi
I was already a real fan of Gaia Repossi’s jewelry.
But since I met her I’ve been impressed by her drive, her vision for the family business of which she just became artistic director, and her desire to evolve the world of jewelry. Her collaborations with Alexander Wang and Joseph Altuzarra (just to name a couple) added a true fashion perspective that was lacking some at the Place Vendôme. All that, plus a doctorate in archeology, and a real talent for painting, and all before 25 years old!
I like that while taking this photo, she told me she wanted an image that showed her strength…
I don’t know if I succeeded in showing anything but her sweetness, but I was so excited to meet a girl who takes risks, looks for new forms of creation and never hides her desire to succeed.

Shiny Things
Is it just me or is there something new going on with jewelry?
