2/ Very Important People and a dress I love. Even if it’s not Prada :-)

In my suitcase, there are a lot of skirts, but only one dress. Dresses are not a thing I wear a lot except when it’s summer and it’s crazy hot and I have no choice, or I have to go to a level 10 party and I have no choice cause you can’t spend your whole life in a Stella suit.

But looking at Chloe, from Garage magazine, I suddenly had a feeling day dresses want to come back in my life. I realise, I totally love it. I miss dresses.

Well and of course, this is all again Miuccia’s fault (the first dress is a Miu Miu and the second one is a Prada) but as we were talking about the Prada show earlier I thought it would be a perfect time to bring up this critical subject.

No really. Is it just me or are day dresses really making a come back ?

How does Miuccia Prada make the old look new, make everything she touches cool, create collections that turn the most blasé of the fashionistas into ecstatic, and above all come up with cult accessories each season ?

I don’t know, but each time she does it, I love it…

Here are three of my favorite shots I took for an editorial in this February’s Vogue Nippon.

I don’t know what the weather is like by you, but in New York it’s freezing so much that you feel like spring is never ever going to get here.

So to make us feel better, here’s a picture of Shala Monroque, shot right after the Miu Miu show, looking great in her Prada dress.

There, see? It’s heating up some.

And one day, it’ll stop raining. Springtime will come. We’ll all wear dresses. Prada dresses. And necklaces with every color, and drink cocktails out of coconuts. Naked men will massage us and…

We were supposed to fly off to Miami this weekend but we ended up cancelling it. So this post is… Therapeutic.
