I don’t know what the weather is like by you, but in New York it’s freezing so much that you feel like spring is never ever going to get here.
So to make us feel better, here’s a picture of Shala Monroque, shot right after the Miu Miu show, looking great in her Prada dress.

We were supposed to fly off to Miami this weekend but we ended up cancelling it. So this post is… Therapeutic.

I really like the exaggerated silhouettes you get from furs, but what I’d like even more is to find a good faux fur.
Yesterday, I saw some in the Prada boutique – Prada made a few of their multicolored spring furs (here) in a very bubblegum-ish faux material (a little like the one in the photo, which is vintage) and I thought it was an interesting idea to offer that.
I LOVE these Italian mama shoes remixed by Prada – I love the explosion of colors and stripes in the whole collection. I used them in an editorial I shot a few months ago and lemmie tell you, it wasn’t easy watching them walk away after the shoot was done.
I know. They’re heels, and super high ones at that.
Oh well. It’s only January 5th and I’m already contradicting myself.
I thought a little bit of Prada to end the week-end would make you happy…
