One of my favorite things to do is go to the movies!
I’m a sucker for BIG screens, surround sound and movie theater popcorn (OK, I might have an addiction to it, worse than Olivia Pope). But sometimes it can be hard to sift through the huge summer blockbusters, so I thought it might be nice to share three smaller films I’m planning to catch. Large popcorn over here, please!
Boyhood: This is a MUST. Filmed over 12 years with the same cast, the film is beyond nostalgic. A story of adolescence and growing up, it feels more like living a life than watching a movie. One-of-a-kind.
Magic in the Moonlight: When it comes to Woody Allen the films are almost always a hit. Emma Stone is seriously growing on me, and Colin Firth had me ages ago. It’s a rom-com about a magician and a clairvoyant. Enough said.
Mood Indigo: A magical, medical love story with the ever endearing Audrey Tatou brought to you by creative visionary Michel Gondry. The trailer alone has me dreaming in a fantasy Paris.
What films are you seeing this summer?
