New York weather has officially hit sauna status. It’s nearly impossible to step outside without feeling like you are totally going to melt away…

I’ve been following the tips from Alice for keeping my skin shine -free (okay, I probably haven’t been sleeping quite as much as I should… ah, summer nights). I’ve switched my moisturizer and don’t leave the house without a pack of blotting paper. However, one question has remained: How can I have shine-free and dewy summer skin? (Think Gisele, not girl sweating on the subway platform…)

I think I’ve figured it out. I’ve been reaching for this Matte/Dew compact from MAKE. One side is a mattifying gel, which I pat on my t-zone when I’m feeling extra sauna-y and the other side is a moisturizing formula that I dab on my cheekbones for a perfectly natural, dewy glow. It keeps me looking fresh on these hot and humid days…

Do you have any tricks for perfecting dewy summer skin?

PS: You can get it online or at Wonderland Beauty Parlor in NYC!
