Vogue is coming out with a documentary… again.
Their first run was a film called The September Issue, documenting the making of the magazine’s biggest annual issue. This time, it gives us a behind the scenes look at one of the most coveted events in New York, the Met Gala. The Met Gala happens every year, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, on the first Monday of May (hence the title) to celebrate the opening of the new exhibit at the Costume Institute. Last year’s exhibit was “China: Through the Looking Glass” and the movie gives us a look at everything that went into creating the exhibit and the gala itself, which hosts some of the biggest celebrities and names in fashion. The trailer was just released and we see a few famous faces already from Anna Wintour to Karl Lagerfeld. The film is set to open the Tribeca Film Festival on April 13th. We can’t wait to see it!
