Right before leaving Milan, I went to go have coffee at Illaria’s. I already loved her style, very 80s inspired, and I swear I almost hallucinated when I saw some of the pieces in her wardrobe. A true vintage mine. Ferragamo, Yves Saint Laurent, collection of Interview Magazine strewn about and even whole bottles of Fidji, a perfume I was so crazy about when I was a kid.

After a long night of train through the Alps, I am back in Paris! But I still have so many things from Milan to show you… Let’s start by this D&G show. I was totally delighted by the vintage après-ski theme, even more so because I am going to spend my après-fashion weeks in the mountains… Yeeehee !

I love doing castings. Not to see the girls strut their stuff in front of me, that’s still a little weird, and embarrassing too. I mean, in the end, you can only chose one or two. No, I love doing castings for the moment when, finally, a girl walks in the room and you feel something special.
That’s exactly what happened with Helena. I was looking for a model for a shoot I was doing with Spanish Vogue. She walked in with a determined stride, sat down, let out a big smile, and I knew she was the one.

How do I chose what model to work with? Hmmmm, good question, thanks for asking (??!!?).

Outside of a presence and that certain je-ne-sais-quoi that never quite explains it, there’s a ton of little details to look for:

Yoohoo girls and boys (???!?) !
I still can’t believe that fashion week in Milan is already over. I’m like Giovanna, very very low on energy, very very high on coffee. But I dunno, something in me is stirring, and that something is called SPRINGTIME.

I’ve got the impression that the following months are going to be washed out. Everything comes out in the wash. And I’m not talking about Bianca’s* hair. The jeans are a sky blue of years passed, the pinks are pale, the greys are pearl and let’s not even talk about beiges or khakis who are going to invade this entire blog so that you’ll beg me to find a more lively color to wave in front of you.
Pfff, easier said than done. That’s quite a mission

I’ve always believed I had green eyes. Not boring brown as everybody seems to believe. Green. Yes, look closer. Isn’t there a little green stain here? On the left side? What, no?
Well… Ok then. My eyes are khaki. And you know what? I am totally fine with that. Because khaki is the big trend of the season. Khaki ? The New Black. My eyes are a total hit this season, and count on me for making everybody know.

Tuesday, at the Burberry Prorsum show, I was seated across Mary-Kate Olsen. Next to her, Kate Hudson was joking with Rachel Zoe across the catwak and Kristen Stewart was watching all the hysteria around. Mary-Kate, dressed all in black, hiding behind giant sunglasses and a Mona Lisa smile, was totally still.
